There has been a leak online containing the specifications for the entirety of the 13th-generation Intel Raptor Lake starting series.
Intel Raptor Lake is expected to debut in the coming months, and its whole launch lineup has leaked ahead of its unveiling.
Extreme Player on Chinese social media site Bili Bili posted specs for 14 SKUs, encompassing Core i3 to Core i9 processors (originally detected by Wccftech).
Topline stats reveal a 24-core i9 processor (8 performance cores, 16 efficiency cores) with 32 threads, double the number of efficiency cores from the Alder Lake i9-12900K. Below are Bili Bili’s other specs.
Because these rumours and these specifications are consistent with one another, you should take both sets of information with a grain of salt.
Examining Intel’s ability to rein in its dominance.
The ARM-developed big.LITTLE architecture has a number of advantages over the more conventional architecture of processors, one of which is its reduced power consumption.
Indeed, the greatest phones and tablets on the market now use Apple silicon, and the same is true of the top MacBooks and Macs.
However, this has not proven to be the case with Intel’s Alder Lake, which has a high power consumption relative to Intel’s other recent chip releases, and especially its mobile chip releases.
I’m curious to see if Intel is able to make its chips more energy efficient with this generation, but judging by recent benchmark scores, it seems like they’re full speed ahead.
