Google Docs can now be filled with emojis

Google Docs

If you feel that your work documents lack personality, a recent Google Docs upgrade may help by using emojis.

Using emojis in the workplace is simplified by the ability to search for and insert them inline.

Users can now quickly access a selection of relevant emojis by typing “@” followed by the desired term, emotion, item, etc.

Emoji for Google Docs

All Google Workspace clients, as well as older G Suite Basic and Business customers, and users with personal Google accounts, will soon have access to the new functionality, which is enabled by default and requires no administrative intervention.

According to the company’s announcement, this revision expands upon the emoji reaction feature that was first introduced for Google Docs in April 2022. Hence, users will be able to react to entire sentences and paragraphs using emojis, just as they would with messages in a group chat.

This new version is the most recent release from Google Workspace, which has been working to improve the functionality of products like Docs for users everywhere.

With the latest update to Docs, users may now choose numerous chunks of text from different locations at once, making the formatting and editing process more efficient by reducing the need for repeated modifications.

So the recent updates to Google Docs include “assistive writing capabilities” such suggested synonyms and expanded sentence completion.
