The release of Madden 23 is rapidly approaching, and early access has been granted to a select few.
We’ve played the new NFL game extensively already. We’ve heard about Madden 23’s cross-play features, seen its bone-crushing player pile-ups in action, and seen the player ratings. With this schedule in hand, we can plan to put on our pads and take the field at the earliest possible opportunity.
As with Madden NFL 22, Madden 23 will roll out in two phases. In anticipation of the main release on August 18 (or August 19, depending on your timezone), a three-day early access period has begun. EA’s latest mainline sports title, Madden NFL 23, is available today for those who are EA Play members, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, or who purchased the Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition.
Madden 23 has the same worldwide release date. If you bought the standard version, you can play at 9pm PST on August 18 or 12am EST / 5am BST / 3pm AEDT on August 19.
You can play the game early if you bought the All Madden Edition. The preview window opens on August 15, allowing you to play before other gamers. Madden will carry over your early access progress.
EA Play subscribers can also get early access. EA subscribers can play up to 10 hours of game without buying it. After the game’s release, the trial period will be available. EA Play is also available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Madden 23 is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Upgrades to next-gen hardware are expensive, so choose carefully.
